Many people seem to think that God is just a replacement word for what science hasn’t discovered yet. The popular opinion is that as science grows, God diminishes. There are, of course, many opposing opinions. John Lennox, the famous professor of mathematics, has written extensively about the subject. But let me reiterate one of his compelling arguments. Science can’t explain everything and certainly can’t disprove the existence of God. Science can only give one kind of explanation, approaching the issue from one specific angle. But there are many other kinds of explanations that are not scientific, yet just as valid and true.
Most people have heard about the history of inventing and building the first automobiles. Henry Ford was one of those visionaries who was instrumental in the development of modern, affordable cars. He built and tested one of his first internal combustion engines in the late 1800’s, and released his famous Model T in 1908. I would like to emphasize one thought here, that is actually the main point of this short writing:
Understanding all the science behind the internal combustion engine doesn’t prove the non-existence of Henry Ford.
