He once prayed, \u201cthat they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us\u201d. And as a result, we would have the same abilities as Jesus \u2013 in His own words: \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Originally, humanity was meant to keep adversarial things under control. That includes everything that tries to keep you sick, incapacitated, depressed, fearful, or in danger. Jesus restored people into this position by granting them authority and ability. He said: \u201cBehold,\u00a0I give you the authority <em>(\u2026)<\/em> over all the power of the enemy <em>(hostile things)<\/em>, and nothing shall by any means hurt you\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 An integral part of this received authority is that believers can heal the sick: \u201cAnd these signs will accompany those who believe: they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.\u201d All of God\u2019s promises are given to the believer \u2013 whoever believes \u2013 as Jesus put it.
